I’m Alex, a Calgary-based bookkeeper with over 12 years of hands-on experience supporting small and mid-sized businesses across construction supply, manufacturing, retail, and oil and gas services.
My background includes working directly with a Calgary-based construction materials supplier, a multi-generational local furniture company, and an oil and gas services business. These were not simple operations. They involved inventory management, vendor coordination, cost tracking across multiple projects, and financial records that had to reflect the real complexity of how each business ran day to day.
That experience matters because bookkeeping is not one-size-fits-all. Having worked across industries where operations directly impact financial records, I understand what it takes to keep books accurate when the business around them is constantly moving.
